To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is the story of Lara Jean, who has never openly admitted her crushes, but instead wrote each boy a letter about how she felt, sealed it, and hid it in a box under her bed. But one day Lara Jean discovers that somehow her secret box of letters has been mailed, causing all her crushes from her past to confront her about the letters: her first kiss, the boy from summer camp, even her sister’s ex-boyfriend, Josh. As she learns to deal with her past loves face to face, Lara Jean discovers that something good may come out of these letters after all.

What I Liked »
I love how Lara Jean wrote everything she ever wanted to say or thought about these boys and then let them go and also how different Lara Jean is. Most character that loose their moms at early ages spend half of the book mopping and in a way try to get the reader to feel sorry for him/her. Lara Jean and her sisters are like a normal family. They each take turns making dinner and share secrets with each other. Though they still think about their mom every once in a while they don’t indirectly blame everything they’ve done wrong due to the fact that they don’t have a mom anymore.
Final Verdict »
TATBILB gets 5 donuts because it a unique story about a half-Korean girl whom slowly finds herself and learns to trust her own feelings. I would definitely recommend this book to anybody I know.
That’s pretty much it.
Love.
